What is Edline?
Parental involvement is one of the most powerful drivers of student achievement and school performance. At Alexandria Country Day School, we encourage and maintain communication with parents through the use of Edline. A web-based information portal, Edline, provides a simple, single point of access to all of the key information students and parents need: homework, grades, progress reports, activity schedules, athletic scores, lunch menus, school news, resources, and more. Parents access Edline through a single sign-on, password-protected account which provides personalized shortcuts to the specific classes, homework, reports and other information pertaining to their children. Edline also offers parents the ability to e-mail any ACDS staff member from within the Edline website.

Not only is class- or activity-specific communication possible, but also, school-wide e-mails and cell phone text message emergency alerts are sent out using Edline providing up-to-the-minute school-to-home communication.
